As a Member of the Israeli Parliament, Kallner’s support for policies of forced displacement and transfer of the Palestinian population, his advocacy of living conditions that lead to the physical destruction of society, his encouragement of persecution against identifiable groups on political, racial, national and ethnic grounds, and his legitimization of inhumane acts that cause great suffering, constitute a violation of the obligations to protect civilians during armed conflict and to observe fundamental human rights.

An Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City killed 11 Palestinians and injured more than 30 others. The targeted building was destroyed, and surrounding structures sustained heavy damage.
